KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) announced it has been awarded a contract from Gemini HDPE LLC, a manufacturing joint venture between INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA (INEOS) and Sasol, to provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for a new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) facility to be located at INEOS’s Battleground Manufacturing Complex in La Porte, Texas.
CB&I (NYSE:CBI) announced today it has been awarded a contract by Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen S.A. (PKN) for the license and engineering design of a new on-purpose propylene production unit to be located in Plock, Poland.
Skanska has signed a contract with AB Stockholmshem to construct five houses in Stockholm, Sweden. The contract is worth about SEK 390 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska Sweden for the third quarter of 2014.

MacGregor, part of Cargotec, has secured a new contract from Chinese shipbuilder, Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd, for two 100-tonne active heave-compensated subsea MacGregor cranes. The cranes will be fitted to two 86-metre multi-purpose platform supply vessels (PSVs) under construction at the yard. Delivery of the cranes is scheduled for the end of September and October 2015.
Foster Wheeler AG (Nasdaq:FWLT) announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Power Group has been awarded a contract by Iberdrola, for the design and supply of a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The unit will be installed at a cogeneration plant that Iberdrola is building at the Kimberly Clark de Mexico Ramos Arizpe Facility in Coahuila, Mexico.
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today that it has been awarded a contract from the Civil Engineering and Development Department of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to provide managing and operating services for the Public Works Regional Laboratory (PWRL) in Tai Po, Hong Kong. This contract replaces Jacobs’ previous contract that was awarded in 2011.
MHI, Mitsubishi Corporation and GAP Insaat to Build Large-Scale Fertilizer Plant For Turkmenhimiya, A State-Owned Chemical Company In Turkmenistan
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), working jointly with GAP Insaat Yatirim ve Dis Tiscaret A.S., a Turkish construction company and Mitsubishi Corporation, will build a large scale ammonia and urea fertilizer production plants for Turkmenhimiya (TH), a state-owned chemical company in Turkmenistan.
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI), in cooperation with Mitsui & Co., Ltd., has received an order from the Concessionária Move São Paulo for the turnkey construction and delivery of the fully automated driverless system for São Paulo Metro Line 6-(Project). The Concessionária Move São Paulo is in charge of the construction and operation of the Project.
Kvaerner and KBR, Inc announced today they will establish a joint venture to competitively bid on offshore platform topsides contracts for the Johan Sverdrup field development offshore Norway. The alliance combines Kvaerner's expertise and resources as a turn-key contractor for offshore platforms with KBR's competence as a leading international offshore oil and gas contractor.
