Amec Foster Wheeler CFBs Selected For RWE Power Plant, Germany

Amec Foster Wheeler announces today that it has been selected by RWE Power AG to carry out the first stage of the design, supply, erect and commission two 550-megawatt (MWe) ultra-supercritical circulating fluidized-bed (CFB) steam generators. They will replace the existing four 300-MWe pulverized-coal units at the same RWE power plant site in Niederraussem near Cologne, Germany.

Contract Awarded For Process And Riser Platforms On Johan Sverdrup

Technip Selected By Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd For A FPSO Conversion Contract

Technip has been awarded a topsides detailed engineering and procurement services contract by Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd. The project is part of the conversion of a shuttle tanker into a floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, which is built at the Jurong Shipyard, located in Singapore.

Skanska Renovates And Expands Tampa International Airport In Florida, USA, For USD 60 M

Skanska has signed a supplemental contract to renovate and expand the Tampa International Airport (TPA) Main Terminal building in Tampa, Florida. The contract is worth USD 60 M, about SEK 500 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building for the second quarter of 2015.

Pöyry Awarded Environmental Impact Assessment Services Assignment By Finnpulp Oy For Planned Pulp Mill In Finland

Finnpulp Oy has awarded Pöyry with the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) assignment for a planned pulp mill project in Kuopio, Finland. The assessment program includes Finnpulp Oy's plans on the various implementation alternatives for the mill project and a plan on the environmental impacts to be assessed.

Wood Group Enters $250m Agreement For Operating Services

Skanska Builds Highway In Czech Republic For CZK 2.7 Billion

Skanska has signed a contract with The Road and Motorway Directorate for construction of a new part of the D1 motorway between Lipník nad Bečvou and Přerov, Czech Republic.The contract is worth CZK 2.7 billion, about SEK 920 M, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska Czech Republic for the second quarter of 2015.

CIMIC’s Leighton Contractors Preferred Contractor For Victorian Level Crossing Removals
