First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) today announced that Photosol, a French photovoltaic (PV) solar energy company, has selected its high performance, lower-carbon, thin film modules to power 14 utility-scale solar power plants with a total capacity of 106.5 megawatts (MW)DC.

First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) today welcomes the news that Genex Power Limited (ASX: GNX, Genex Power) has achieved financial close for the Kidston Phase One Solar Project in Queensland, Australia. First Solar will supply 63 megawatts (MW)dc of advanced thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules to the project which will produce approximately 145,000 megawatt-hours of electricity in its first year of operation.

Prime Road Group and First Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: FSLR) welcome the completion of four solar farms totaling 18 megawatts (MWDC) of capacity in Thailand. Located across the Ayutthaya and Pathum Thani Provinces, the Prime Road Group Co-Op Project (Project) utilizes more than 158,500 First Solar thin-film photovoltaic (PV) modules to produce approximately 29,600 megawatt-hours (MWh) of clean electricity in the first year of operation.
The Puerto Libertad photovoltaic plant in the State of Sonora (México) will see its capacity increased by 50% to 339 MWp (270 MW rated capacity) following the signature of a private purchase agreement between the joint venture that owns the project (participated at 50% by ACCIONA Energia and TUTO Energy) and the company TUTO Energy Trading.
Strabag SpA has awarded Pöyry with an engineering services assignment for the Alto Maipo hydropower project located in the Maipo river basin, Chile. The assignment includes review of constructability and preliminary engineering, detail design and preparation of tender documents for hydromechanical and electrical works, O&M Manuals and site supervision during installation and commissioning.
