Balloki Combined-Cycle Power Plant

GE (NYSE: GE) will provide two high-efficiency 9HA gas turbines, one steam turbine (engineered by Alstom and now incorporated into GE’s portfolio) and associated equipment to Harbin Electric International Company Limited (HEI) for the new 1.2 GW Balloki combined-cycle power plant. Harbin, a longtime business associate with GE, will handle engineering, procurement and construction of the plant

Aconcagua Cogeneration Plant

The Asturian group DF has signed a contract with the Chilean company Empresa Nacional del Petróleo (ENAP) to implement a 77 MW cogeneration plant in Concón (Valparaíso region), for approximately 106 million euro. It will integrate one natural gas turbine.

Al Zour Oil Refinery

The Al-Zour Refinery project is a grass roots refinery located in the Al-Zour area, south of Kuwait City. With a total capacity of 615,000 barrels per day it will be one of the largest oil refining plants worldwide. The Refinery will supply low sulfur fuel to local power plants as well as enhance competitiveness of Kuwait petroleum products in worldwide markets.

Amrumbank West

The Amrumbank West project is a 288 MW offshore wind farm located in the German North Sea about 40 kilometers from Helgoland island. It can produce power to meet the needs of 300,000 households and to displace more than 740,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually.

Arlington Valley Solar Energy II (AVSE II)

The Arlington Valley Solar Energy II Project is a 127 megawatt (AC) photovoltaic solar farm, near Arlington, Arizona. The Solar Project covers more than 1,100 acres of land. Fluor Corp. carried out the engineering, procurement, and construction of the Project and will provide operation and maintenance services.

Bajo de la Alumbrera Gold-Copper Mine

Bajo de la Alumbrera is located in the north-west of Argentina, in the province of Catamarca. The Alumbrera mining operation is one of the world's largest and lowest-cost gold and copper operations.

Blue Lake Expansion Hydroelectric Project

Located approximately eight kilometers east of the city of Sitka in Alaska, U.S.A., the Blue Lake Expansion hydroelectric project will help supply 100% of the city’s power needs.

Brockville Solar Project

The Brockville solar project is located in the township of Elizabethtown-Kitley in Eastern Ontario and is being developed under Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff (FIT) Program. The energy produced by the Brockville Solar project will be sold to the Ontario Power Authority under a 20-year supply contract and will power the equivalent of 1,700 households annually.

Carrington Combined Cycle Power Plant (880 MW)

Alstom has been awarded a contract by Carrington Power Limited, for the supply of the power island (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine and heat recovery steam generator (HRSG)) for the new Carrington Power gas-fired power station. The contract was signed in consortium with Duro Felguera, a Spanish company specialising in the construction of power plants.

Centinela Project

The Centinela Solar Energy Facility is a 170-megawatt photovoltaic solar project and is one of the largest of its kind in the United States. Fluor Corp. carried out the engineering, procurement and construction of the facility.

Chilca Plus Combined Cycle Power Plant

DF has signed a contract with the Peruvian company Enersur, a subsidiary of GDF Suez, for the turnkey execution of a natural gas power station to the south of Lima. The installed power of the station will amount to 110 MW. The execution period is 2 years and the contract price is over 111 million dollars, equivalent to 87 million Euros.

Chirnogeni Wind Farm

The Chirnogeni Wind Farm project will comprise 32 Nordex N90/2500 2.5 MW turbines for a total installed capacity of 80MW. It is positioned in the South-East of Romania, between the municipalities of Chirnogeni and Independenţa, in the county of Constanţa. The wind farm is expected to be fully operational by early 2014.

Cornwall Ontario River Energy Project

The CORE (Cornwall Ontario River Energy) project is a freshwater, continuous-flow river application of Verdant’s horizontal-axis turbine technology. The project will be conducted in the St. Lawrence River near Cornwall, Ontario, Canada and is planned in two phases: Phase 1 will consist of a pilot installation of the latest generation of Verdant’s technology, followed by a Phase 2 commercial build-out of the project up to 15 MW of installed capacity.

Costanera Thermal Power Plant (2.340 MW)

Engineering, supply of equipment, erection and start-up for the revamping of six fuel-oil powered steam units, boilers, BOP, auxiliary equipment and control system.

Curtis LNG Project (QCLNG)

The Queensland Curtis LNG project is located on Curtis Island, Gladstone, in Queensland, Australia. The project development will comprise five components namely the gas field, pipeline, LNG plant, swing basin and channel, and shipping operations. The gas field component will involve expansion of coal seam gas operations in Surat Basin.

Djelfa Combined Cycle Power Plant

DF has signed a contract with the Algerian company Societé de Production de l’ Electricité (SPE), a subsidiary of Sonelgaz group, for the construction of a combined cycle gas power plant in Djelfa. The cost of the project amounts to 544 million euro and the plant with 1,250 MW will be the largest power plant built by the company to date.

Empalme II Combined Cycle Power Plant (800 MW)

The 791MW Empalme II (ex Guaymas III) combined-cycle plant will be built to meet growing demand for electricity in northeastern Mexico. The project is being put out to tender as a financed public works project. Project elements include the plant, a substation and a water supply system. Construction is expected to take 28 months.

Fadhili Gas Plant

The Fadhili Gas Plant project is a greenfield development located 30 km west of the city of Jubail in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The gas plant will have a capacity for around 2,500 MMSCFD and will process sour gas from the Khursaniyah oil field and the Hasbah non-associated gas field.

Genelba Combined Cycle Power Plant

Skanska LA, in consortium with Black & Veatchand SiemensAG, was contracted to perform the engineering, procurement and construction services for the Combined Cycle Power Plant GenelbaI project.

Ichthys Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Project

The Ichthys Project is a Joint Venture between INPEX Browse Ltd (76%, the Operator) and Total E&P Australia (24%). Gas from the Offshore Ichthys Field will be transported to onshore gas processing facilities in Darwin

Ichthys Onshore Production Facilities

The gas will be processed through a two train 8.4 t/a LNG processing plant. This production rate represents the average rate over the life of the Project. Total annual production will vary from year to year depending on factors such as the composition of the gas from the reservoir and the duration and frequency of maintenance activities.

Jazan Refinery

Saudi Aramco's new Jazan Refinery will be a grassroots facility with an anticipated capacity of up to 400,000 barrels per day (BPD). The proposed facility will be located in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The Jazan Refinery and Terminal project is expected to support the future development of Jazan Economic City. The additional refined products from the new facility will satisfy the growth in domestic demand within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

LNG Terminal Expansion

Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Comissioning of a LNG terminal expansion comprising a 180,000 m3 tank and the necessary equipment for its integration into the terminal, as well as the boil-off system.

Loa Project

The Solar Thermal and Photovoltaic Park TAMARUGAL projects - The LOA respectively aim at generating electricity from the sun's energy through the installation of a solar plant that will have 11,710,720 photovoltaic modules together potential 1162.36 MWac. and 300 MW thermal plant to maintain a continuous injection system.

Los Bronces Copper Mine Expansion

The expansion of the Los Bronces copper mine is the largest mining job in Chile today. Located in the Andes northeast of Santiago, the project includes expansion of a copper concentrator, construction of a new concentrator, crushing and conveying equipment, grinding and flotation circuits, and other equipment. The project will more than double throughput at the facility.

LPG Terminal Expansion (4 Nos LPG Spherical Tanks)

LSTK EPC Terminal expansion, including basic and detailed engineering, procurement, prefabrication, construction and tests for an existing LPG terminal, consisting of 4 Nos 4,000m3 each Spherical tanks, civil works, and interconnections with existing facility (piping, electrical, instrumentation, etc.), at Moín (Costa Rica).

Luz del Norte

The Luz del Norte project is a 141 megawatt (MW) photovoltaic (PV) solar power plant in Latin America located on 478 hectares of land 58 km northeast of Copiapó, Chile. The Luz del Norte project will be powered by more than 1.7 million First Solar advanced thin film PV modules, producing enough solar energy to power 174,000 homes.


The Malampaya Deep Water Gas-to-Power Project is among the most significant in the Philippines. Approximately 40 percent of the power for the main island of Luzon is generated by power plants using gas from the offshore Malampaya gas field located in the West Philippine Sea.

Manifa Arabian Heavy Crude Project

The Manifa Project is both an Offshore and Onshore development. The Manifa Field is located in shallow waters and the development involved the construction of 27 drilling production islands and 2 water injection islands linked by a Causeway to the new Onshore Processing Facilities.

Marco Polo TLP

The Marco Polo TLP is installed in 1,311m (4,300 ft.) water depth in the Gulf of Mexico. The Marco Polo TLP has a displacement of approximately 27,400 short tons and a topside payload of 14,300 short tons. The deck is the largest single-lift deck installed offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. The Marco Polo TLP serves as the production hub platform at Green Canyon 608 in the Gulf of Mexico initially for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation's Marco Polo field discovery

Mariner Project

The Mariner Field is located on the East Shetland Platform of the UK North Sea approximately 150km east of the Shetland Isles. The Mariner oil field development entails investments of more than USD 7 billion and is the largest new offshore development in the UK in more than a decade and is expected to start production in 2017. The field is estimated to produce for 30 years, with average production of around 55,000 barrels of oil per day over the plateau period from 2017 to 2020.

Moxie Freedom Power Plant

Leadership takes moxie. GE (NYSE:GE), BNP Paribas, Citigroup and Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group are co-leading project financing for construction and operation of the Caithness Moxie Freedom power plant in Luzerne County, PA – the first plant using GE’s high efficiency 7HA.02 gas turbines to be project financed.

Oveng TLP

The Oveng TLP serves the Oveng Field located approximately 55 km southwest of Bata and 250 km south of Malabo. The Oveng TLP is installed in approximately 280 meters (900 feet) of water. The platform is designed to support up to eighteen (18) top tensioned production and/or water injection direct vertical access risers and a tender-assist drilling unit.

Pearl GTL

Pearl GTL is comprised of upstream gas production facilities as well as an onshore GTL plant that will produce 140,000 barrels per day of high-quality GTL fuels and products along with 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of condensate, liquefied petroleum gas and ethane. When constructed, it will be the largest GTL plant in the world.

Penco - Lirquen LNG Terminal. CHILE

The former Octopus LNG project, now known as the Penco Lirquén LNG terminal, comprises a floating storage regasification (FSRU) LNG port terminal in region VIII's Concepción bay.

Puerto Ventanas - Expansion, Improvement And Refurbishment Of The New Copper Concentrate Loading System

Turnkey Project for the Expansion, Improvement and Refurbishment of the new Copper Concentrate Loading System at the port facilities. The project comprises de implementation of a new shiploader (1,500 tph) and a new conveyor belt system that includes a pipe conveyor belt (609 m). This equipment will receive the concentrate from the two main mining companies in Chile.

Rabigh II

The proposed Rabigh II project comprises a new aromatics complex and an expanded facility to process 30 million standard cubic feet per day of ethane and approximately 3 million tons per year of naphtha as feedstock to produce a variety of high value-added petrochemical products. The project is expected to begin operations in the first half of 2016.

Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project

Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project has been initiated by Cheniere Energy Partners, under its subsidiary Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC to add liquefaction services at the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal.

Sabine Pass LNG Terminal

The Sabine Pass Terminal project in southern Louisiana is a phased project. Phase 1 of Sabine Pass LNG commenced service in April 2008 and by mid-2009 the first stage of the Phase 2 expansion was completed. With a total send-out capacity of 4.0 Bcf/d and 16.8 Bcf of storage capacity the Sabine Pass terminal is the largest receiving terminal, by regasification capacity, in the world.

Shenzi TLP

The Shenzi Tension Leg Platorm (TLP) has a payload capacity of 15,500st and displacement of 43,500st. The TLP is designed to have up to 20 subsea production and water injection wells tied back to the facility and is capable of processing 100,000 barrels of oil and 50 million cubic feet of gas per day. The TLP is designed to be installed in 1,333 meters water depth.

Storage Terminal

A fuel supply terminal for ships and oil storage in Bahia las Minas (province of Colón) on the Atlantic coast of Panama. The project will be implemented in partnership with Spanish firm FCC industrial.

Taji Power Plant

Taji Power Plant has become the newest power project in the greater Baghdad area to begin producing electricity to help Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity (MOE) meet the country’s urgent energy needs. The Iraq MOE has commissioned the new facility, located 20 kilometers northeast of Baghdad, which recently entered commercial operation.

Thermosolar Power Plant Andasol 3

Thanks to high local levels of direct solar irradiation, Andalusia is one of a handful of locations in Europe that is ideally suited to solar thermal power generation. Andasol 3, with an installed output of 50 megawatts, was completed on schedule in summer 2011. Andasol 3 generates approximately 165 million kilowatt hours of electricity a year, saving some 150,000 tonnes of CO2 when compared to a modern hard coal-fired power plant.

Vuelta De Obligado Combined Cycle Power Plant

Argentina's President Cristina Fernández has announced the award of the turnkey contract for the Vuelta de Obligado (CVOSA) 800MW combined cycle power plant to a JV formed by US firm General Electric (NYSE: GE), Spanish firm Duro Felgueras and local firm Fainser.


YASREF is a new “grassroots” refinery with a capacity to process 400,000 bpd of Arabian Heavy crude and produce 90,000 bpd of gasoline, 263,000 bpd of ultra-low-sulfur diesel, 6,300 metric tons per day (mtd) of coke and 1,200 mtd of sulfur.
