The Japan Bank For International Cooperation said Wednesday that it has signed a contract to help finance the Barzan gas project in Qatar with a loan of up to $600 million, earmarked for construction of a natural gas processing plant to be built by Japanese plant maker JGC Corp.
State-run Qatar Petroleum, or QP, said Tuesday it had successfully closed the debt and export credit agency-backed financing portions for its $10.4 billion Barzan gas project, which will supply natural gas to meet rapidly-rising domestic demand
JGC Corporation announced today that it has received Award Notification to build the gas processing facilities for the Barzan Onshore Project in Qatar.
