Output of the Doğa Enerji Power Plant is a nominal 180 MW. The plant is designed for centrally controlled, automatic operation allowing minimum staffing levels. The plant is designed for base load operation at an expected efficiency of approximately 42% and has the capability for rapid load response and fast starting after shutdown. Three 40 MW GE Frame 6B gas turbines are individually coupled to separate generators and exhaust into a Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). Steam produced by the HRSG is fed into a 72 MW steam turbine coupled to a generator. The gas turbines have the capability to switch from natural gas to diesel oil as a back up if required during the operation. Storage facilities has sufficient fuel for 10 days of full load operation.
